Join us March 3-4, 2015 in Istanbul, Turkey for the Inaugural Conference of the International Association of Immunization Managers (IAIM)! This exciting international conference offers immunization manager members (and other IAIM members) the opportunity to meet their peers in other countries, exchange information and best practices in immunization program management, and learn more about the professional support that IAIM offers them to help advance their management and leadership skills. 

 

Purpose and Format

The two-day program, which will be held 3-4 March 2015, will cover:

·         An introduction to IAIM and membership benefits

·         Informational presentations featuring best practices in immunization program management

·         Networking sessions and break-out sessions for members to engage in in-depth discussion of specific management solutions

·         Member presentations on management experiences, successes, and challenges

·         The election of the IAIM Governing Council (the association’s governing body) from among the membership



Participation

Participation is open to IAIM members of all membership types and from all countries. If you are not already a member of IAIM, you must become a member (either an Immunization Manager Member or Associate Member) in order to register for this event. Please click here to join as a member.

 


Registration

Please register by clicking the “Register Now” button at the bottom of this page. You are encouraged to register early in order to ensure that there is sufficient time to finalize travel requirements, including visas and flight and hotel arrangements. The deadline for registration is 15 January 2015.

The Conference agenda will be made available through this page. All members who have registered will receive an announcement when these documents become available.



Working Language

The working languages for the meeting are English and French (with simultaneous interpretation available). Please access the agenda for the conference here.

Travel & Accommodation

Once a member has completed their registration, they will be contacted and provided with guidance on how to obtain a visa. Many members can obtain an online visa through Turkey’s convenient e-Visa system.

Once you have obtained your visa, the IAIM Secretariat or its designee will follow up with you to provide guidance on your flight and accommodation arrangements.
