Meningitis B vaccine rejected by UK


July 24, 2013--The Guardian reported today that the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) in the United Kingdom did not find sufficient evidence that Bexsero, a new vaccine developed by Novartis, "will protect children well enough to justify routine vaccination." The vaccine was licensed by European authorities in January 2013, but not country has yet adopted it for routine immunization programs. Read more here.
